Ukraine unveils domestically built Skif APC

Ukraine has developed its own armored personnel carrier to reduce reliance on aging foreign equipment. Kyiv-based manufacturer UkrArmoTech has unveiled the Skif, a tracked APC designed to match the speed and capacity of the American M-113 but with roughly double the armor protection. The vehicle represents a significant step in Ukraine's domestic defense industry capabilities during the ongoing conflict. For three years, Ukraine has depended on 1960s-era American M-113s to transport troops across front lines.
