Russia to halt Kazakh oil to Germany via Druzhba

Russia intends to halt oil exports from Kazakhstan to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline starting May 1, according to reports. The move specifically targets the PCK Schwedt refinery, one of Germany's largest, and would cut about 17% of the facility's supply. This action comes amid heightened global energy tensions linked to the war in the Middle East. A revised oil export schedule detailing the cessation has reportedly already been sent to authorities in Astana and Berlin.
