Belgorod residents are helping to clean up the region after winter. Across the entire region, residents are coming to the aid of utility workers to tidy up: public sector employees, workers from enterprises, United Russia activists, and volunteers. During the community cleanup days (subbotniks), activists are tidying up public spaces, clearing away leaves, deadwood, and household waste that accumulated over the winter. Additionally, active work is underway ahead of Victory Day near memorials dedicated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Special Military Operation, as well as at military burial sites and other memorial locations.
