Hezbollah, Iranian flags dominate southern Lebanon

The Political Committee of the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria, known as Al-Baas, has issued a statement warning the Syrian government in Damascus against pursuing political understandings or international agreements. The group, which claims its strength is derived from popular support, announced it is stepping up the pace of general mobilization among its fighters. It stated it is closely monitoring enemy incursions into southern Syria and that its current silence should not be mistaken for retreat.
