IDF to hold captured areas in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared major accomplishments in the conflict with Hezbollah, stating Israel has created a long-term security zone along the entire northern border from Rosh Hanikra through the Golan Heights to the Yarmouk River. The zone is designed to remove the imminent threat of invasion and anti-tank fire that previously surrounded Israel. IDF forces are now stationed along the border's yellow line to continue defending against remaining threats. Netanyahu described this as transforming what was intended to be a "ring of fire" around Israel into a "ring of security."
