🇮🇷 - Scam messages have been sent to some shipping companies, claiming to offer safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz for a crypto payment, according to Marisks, a maritime security agency. These messages were not sent by Iran. MARISKS believes that one of the vessels that believed they had clearance to pass the Strait, which was later fired upon by Iran, was a victim of this Scam.
