Ukrainian call‑center workers arrested in Yaroslavl for SIM‑box fraud

Authorities in Russia’s Yaroslavl region arrested several Ukrainian nationals operating call‑center fraud schemes. The suspects set up SIM‑boxes to place large‑volume calls to Russian numbers, tricking victims into sending money. Over 2,000 SIM cards, four SIM‑boxes and additional equipment were seized, and the stolen funds were reportedly transferred to support the Ukrainian military.
