The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the return of one of its fighters, Sayyid Mohsen Taherzadeh, after six years in captivity. Taherzadeh, a member of the 45th Jawad al-A’imma Combat Engineering Group, was captured in March 2020 in Sistan and Baluchestan province during a mission against the Jaish al-adl terrorist group. He was repatriated to Iran in April 2026. The announcement was made by the Public Relations department of the IRGC's Quds Base Ground Force.
