Ukraine hits Russian ships, radar, fuel in Crimea

Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) conducted a major strike on high-value Russian targets in occupied Crimea on the night of April 19. The operation, carried out by the 'Ghosts' unit, targeted the Project 775 landing ship Yamal and the Project 1171 landing ship Azov in Sevastopol Bay, rendering both vessels inoperable. The attack also destroyed a $5 million radar system and a fuel depot in the same area. The older ships, built in 1975 and 1988, represent a significant loss of naval capability for Russia's Black Sea Fleet.
