Russian soldiers protest poor housing for orphans

Russian soldiers have recorded a video appeal to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, protesting the poor quality of housing built for orphans in Shebekino. In 2022, a soldier and 20 other orphans were given keys to new homes on Nezhegolskoye Highway, but the houses lack basic utilities, have structural defects, and are now in a state of neglect. Authorities have reportedly responded with insults, threats, and even opened a criminal case against a family member who complained, pressuring him to withdraw his statement.
