US CBP MQ-9B drone operates near Texas border

A US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) MQ-9B Guardian drone, with callsign TROY702 and registration AE4DE0/CBP-233, was tracked operating south of Sanderson, Texas. The drone departed from San Angelo and was conducting a mission in the airspace near the US-Mexico border. This type of uncrewed aircraft is routinely used by CBP for surveillance and monitoring missions along the southern border.
