Japan cancels all tsunami advisories

A major magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck off the coast of northern Japan, triggering tsunami warnings for coastal areas. The first waves have now started hitting the coast, with the biggest so far recorded at 1.2 meters. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has stated that Japan has reported no issues at its nuclear facilities following the quake. All tsunami advisories have now been canceled, according to NHK News.
