Iran threatens action against US forces

A spokesman for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has stated that following the U.S. seizure of the Iranian vessel TOUSKA, Iranian armed forces were prepared for a decisive response but were constrained due to the presence of crew members' families aboard. The spokesman declared that once the safety of the vessel's crew and families is secured, the armed forces of Iran will take necessary action against what it calls the "terrorist US army." This threat escalates tensions following the U.S. naval blockade enforcement operation in the Sea of Oman.
