Scarlet macaw chicks born in Atlantic Forest after 200-year absence

Brazil's environmental agency recorded the birth of two scarlet macaw chicks in the Atlantic Forest, marking the species' first documented return to the coastline in nearly two centuries. The reintroduction project launched in 2022 in Porto Seguro, Bahia.
