Russia recruits Leningrad reservists for drone defense

The governor of Russia's Leningrad Region has announced the start of a recruitment drive for reservists to form mobile groups for combatting drones. The program will offer three-year contracts through military enlistment offices, allowing participants to combine service with their regular jobs, with periods of barracks-style duty lasting from two to six months. These mobile groups will be stationed at the sites of local enterprises and critical infrastructure to provide defense. The units will be under the operational command of the 6th Guards Air Force and Air Defense Army.
