Belgorod to buy 140 armored vehicles for border zone

The Belgorod region is purchasing 140 armored vehicles to transport residents from border settlements under Ukrainian shelling and to deliver essential supplies. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated the vehicles will also be used by territorial defense personnel to escort emergency crews for infrastructure repairs. This follows an earlier announcement that food deliveries to border villages would begin using armored vehicles equipped with electronic warfare systems. More than 210 armored vehicles have already been handed over to local military detachments, with additional all-terrain vehicles scheduled for delivery this month.
