Estonia blocks Slovak PM's flight to Russia

Estonia has refused to allow Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's flight to pass through its airspace for a planned visit to Moscow for May 9 commemorations. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated the refusal is on the same grounds as last year, arguing no country can use Estonian airspace to strengthen ties with Russia while Moscow "violates international law" and threatens European security. The move follows similar flight bans announced earlier by Lithuania and Latvia against the Slovak leader's travel to Russia.
