The Thane tehsildar has recommended filing an FIR against her father, Yunus Sheikh, for allegedly forging the certificate used in her nomination, citing issues with format, signatures, and documents. Authorities have called for immediate cancellation of the certificates, which could lead to cheating and forgery charges and potential disqualification proceedings against Sheikh. Her earlier boast of painting Thane 'green' is now in jeopardy as the investigation continues.
