Belgorod village loses comms after EW deployment

A severe communications blackout has hit the village of Nikolskoye in Russia's Belgorod district, with mobile service practically non-existent for several days. Local residents report the outage began after electronic warfare (EW) systems were installed in the area, affecting multiple operators and making it nearly impossible to make calls except to the emergency '112' number. The disruption is hampering daily life, with residents unable to contact family, veterinarians, or receive critical alerts, even as providers continue to charge for the non-existent service. While the local cell tower remains functional, the EW interference has also caused difficulties with wired internet, and the problem appears isolated, as the neighboring village of Tavrovo is unaffected.
