Ukraine uses naval drone to down Shahed UAV

Ukraine has detailed the capabilities of a novel unmanned surface vehicle (USV) designed to counter Russian drones like the Geran (Shahed). The vessel, operated by the 412th Nemesis Brigade, is equipped with containers to launch interceptor drones and also mounts a machine gun for direct fire. This multi-role anti-drone USV allows Ukraine to expand its interception zone for drones over the Black Sea, engaging threats before they reach coastal regions like Odesa. The system represents a significant evolution in naval drone warfare, shifting from purely offensive strike roles to integrated air defense.
