IDF soldier killed, 3 injured in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces has announced that two soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon over the weekend by bombs that Israeli officials believe were planted prior to the ceasefire going into effect late last week. Command Sergeant Major (Res.) Barak Kalfon, 48, and Sergeant First Class (Res.) Lidor Porat, 31, died in two separate incidents. At least 10 other soldiers were wounded in these attacks. The casualties occurred as Israel continues military operations in southern Lebanon despite the declared ceasefire.
