India supplies diesel to Bangladesh

Bangladesh has begun receiving an additional 5,000 tonnes of diesel from India, boosting its fuel reserves amid rising demand. This latest delivery is part of a series of shipments, including 22,000 tonnes received in March and 8,000 tonnes delivered on April 14, bringing the total supplied from India to approximately 30,000 tonnes. An additional 7,000 tonnes is expected within 4–5 days, with April imports projected to reach around 25,000 tonnes. The supplies are intended to enhance Bangladesh's energy security.
