Fourth UNIFIL soldier killed in Lebanon ambush

A French soldier serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has been killed in an ambush in southern Lebanon. Master Sergeant Florian Montorio died during a route clearance mission near Deir Kifa while en route to a UN post. Israel has accused Hezbollah of carrying out the attack, but the organization has rejected these accusations and called for a Lebanese investigation. This marks the fourth UNIFIL soldier killed in Lebanon this year, following the death of an Indonesian soldier in late March from Israeli shelling.
