Ukraine receives NATO minehunters from allies

Ukraine is receiving Sandown-class minehunting vessels from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Belgium to enhance its naval capabilities in the Black Sea. These ships, known for their low magnetic signatures and high maneuverability, will be crewed by NATO-certified personnel. The delivery supports Ukraine's ongoing efforts to clear mines and secure its maritime domain. Ukraine previously contributed its expertise to NATO's mine clearance doctrine, and this transfer of hardware represents a significant step in implementing that knowledge.
