IOF launches massive strikes across southern Lebanon

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched extensive attacks on Lebanese territories on April 28, 2026, striking dozens of towns with warplane raids, drone strikes, and artillery shelling. Warplane raids targeted over 16 towns including Chakra, Tibnin, Tulin, Braachit, and others, while drone raids hit Qabrikha, Bayout Al-Siyad, Al-Mansouri, and more. Artillery shelling and phosphorus munitions were used against several areas, and explosions were reported in Al-Qantara, Hanin, and Shemaa. These attacks represent a significant escalation in southern Lebanon.
