India to get fourth S-400, plans additional five

India is set to receive its fourth S-400 Triumf air defense system from Russia early next month, according to Hindustan Times. New Delhi signed a $5 billion deal in 2018 for five units, with three already delivered and the fifth expected by November under a revised timeline. Russia has trained Indian personnel to operate the systems. India has also approved the purchase of an additional five S-400 units, bringing the total planned to ten, which officials believe will face no issues under potential U.S. sanctions.
