Pakistan opens 6 land corridors to Iran

Pakistan's Commerce Ministry has opened six official land transit corridors for cargo heading to Iran under a new Goods Transit Order 2026, effective immediately. The routes link Karachi, Port Qasim, and Gwadar with the Gabd and Taftan border crossings. According to Fars News Agency, more than 3,000 containers, including canned goods from third countries, are expected to transit through these corridors, bypassing the U.S. naval blockade.
