Hezbollah details ceasefire demands

Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem has publicly detailed the group's conditions for a permanent post-ceasefire arrangement. He stated that the resistance's military actions were the primary factor forcing Israel to negotiate and accept a temporary halt in hostilities. Qassem outlined five key demands: a permanent cessation of all Israeli aggression against Lebanon, a full Israeli withdrawal to the international border, the release of prisoners, the return of all displaced people to their homes, and reconstruction with Arab and international support. He emphasized that any violation of the ceasefire would be met with a response from Hezbollah forces.
