France may help Germany produce ballistic missiles

ArianeGroup CEO Christophe Bruneau hinted in an April 23 Handelsblatt interview at the possibility of launching ballistic missile production in Germany. The company is exploring locating production of future short- or medium-range missiles on German territory, leveraging an existing plant that produces hydrazine, a key rocket fuel component. Currently, France produces ballistic missiles domestically. The move would mark a significant expansion of European defense industrial cooperation amid rising security tensions.
