Russian fertilizer exports up 16% in Q1

Russian mineral fertilizer exports increased by 16% in the first quarter to $3.6 billion, according to TASS. Complex fertilizers accounted for nearly half of shipments, with top buyers including Brazil, India, and Ethiopia. Potash fertilizer exports saw the largest growth, nearly doubling to $1.1 billion, driven by a 66% increase in shipments to China. Russia produced over 65 million tons of mineral fertilizers last year, an absolute record that strengthened its global market position.
